Orange and Saffron Flame

Being hydrated improves one’s mood and having something a little different from plain drinking water makes a welcome change.  the water In this recipe,is infused with the most expensive in the world. Saffron is the dried stigmas of the flower of crousbsatius; are painstakingly handpicked and then each strand is laid out to dry. Saffron has been found to ease depression and some studies have indicated that it may be useful in treating parkinson’s disease and other age- related degenerative conditions.


400ml Sparkling  or still water
100ml Orange juice
4 tsp Peeled and grated fresh root ginger
10-12 Saffron strands
Seeds from 4-6 green cardamoms, Crushed cinnamon stick for stirring

Orange and Saffron Flame

1   Mix the water and orange juice in a jug.
2   Put the ginger in a tea strainer, place over the jug and press with the back of a teaspoon to squeeze out as much of the ginger juice as possible. Discard the fibrous pulp.
3   Add the saffron and the cardamom seeds and stir well with the cinnamon stick. Pour into 4 glasses and serve.
